Overview
The most successful people on earth are without doubt entrepreneurs. They are people who have grabbed the bull by horn, deciding what is acceptable and unacceptable. They clearly are people who have a clear foresight to see things others do not see. They are creative thinkers and risk takers. Over the years, these people have been studied; they have become inspirations to millions and also have given back by sharing how they got to where they are.
The demand for entrepreneurs is on the increase the world over and Nigeria is no exception. It has become abundantly clear that the government cannot keep everybody employed. Venture capitalists on the other hand are interested in investing in unique business ideas but not just ideas but ideas backed with sound action plans. The importance of entrepreneurship has been relevant for decades and even so on the increase.
Becoming a successful entrepreneur is clearly not a sit at home task. It requires a lot of information gathering, it is learned and it can be best taught by people who have learned through first hand real life experiences. It is clearly insufficient to learn entrepreneurship from a person who only knows entrepreneurship from the text book. Entrepreneur like every other professional course cannot be taught in seminar style.
CEZN’s Entrepreneurial Institute would be a break from the norm, certainly a breath of fresh air in the study of entrepreneurship. It will operate by having experienced, established and seasoned entrepreneurs that are successful in their businesses as coaches to guide our students in the preparation and take off of their businesses. The institute would be designed in a way to challenge the innovative and creative mind of the students and help spur them on to overcome at all times.
The curricular shall be designed to include internship that will expose the students to real time experiences of an entrepreneur.
